Belarusian parliamentarians took part in the work of the 114th IPU AssemblyOn May 7 – 12, 2006 a delegation of the Republic of Belarus National Assembly headed by Chairman of the National Assembly Council of the Republic Mr. Gennady Novitsky took part in the 114th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU). Other members of the delegation were Mr. Vadim Popov, Chairman of the House of Representatives Standing Committee for Foreign Affairs and Links within CIS, and Mrs. Natalya Baranova, member of the Council of the Republic Standing Committee for Foreign Affairs and National Security.
Mr. Gennady Novitsky made a statement at the Assembly plenary session and had several working meetings.
