A regular session of the Eurasian Economic Community Inter-Parliamentary Assembly was held in MinskOn May 25 – 26, 2006 the 27th session of the Eurasian Economic Community Inter-Parliamentary Assembly and meetings of its working bodies — Bureau and Standing Committees — were held in Minsk.
The Chairman of the National Assembly Council of the Republic Mr. Gennady Novitsky took the floor at the plenary meeting and spoke of the law making activities of the Republic of Belarus National Assembly aimed at bringing the national legislation into compliance with international agreements signed within the Eurasian Economic Community.
On the occasion of the session leaders of the Houses of the Belarus Parliament had working meetings with representatives of other Eurasian Economic Community parliaments.
