The fifth session of the Council of the Republic completes its work14 issues were considered at the final sitting of the 5th session of the National Assembly Council of the Republic of the 3rd convocation, which was held on 20 December 2006.
The Chairman of the Council of the Republic Gennady Novitsky summed up the results of the session in his concluding statement “Sharing the country’s concerns”.
The same day, members of the Council of the Republic took part in a ceremony dedicated to the 10th Anniversary of the National Assembly House of Representatives, which was held in the Oval Hall of the House of Government.
