The Republic of Sudan National Assembly delegation on a visit to Belarus In the period of 18 – 23 February 2007, a Sudanese parliamentary delegation visited the Republic of Belarus.
On 19 February 2007, the Chairman of the National Assembly Council of the Republic Mr. Gennady Novitsky met with the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Sudan Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim El-Taher.
The Sudanese parliamentary delegation was also received at the National Assembly House of Representatives and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, met with the leaders of the Brest Region Council of Deputies, visited the Minsk Tractor Works and Agricultural Production Cooperative Ostromechevo of the Brest Region, the Belarusian National Library and the memorial complex Brest Hero Fortress.
