Natalia Andreichik met the Ambassador Ezzat Saad El Sayed On 13 February, 2007, Mrs Natalia Andreichik, the Chairperson of the National Assembly Council of the  Republic Standing Committee on Legislation and State Administration, Head of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Working Group on Cooperation with the Parliament of the Arab Republic of Egypt, met with H.E. Ezzat Saad El Sayed, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus conjointly, who on that very day presented the Letter of Credence to the President of the Republic of Belarus. Members  of the Group Mr Kiselev and Mr Dolzhevsky also took part in the meeting.
The ways of enhancing bilateral political and economic relations were discussed. The high potential of cooperation of the two countries in culture and legal spheres was marked. Mrs Andreichik stressed the Belarussian Parliament interest in the establishing the Belarus Friendship Group in the National Assembly of Egypt. In her opinion, this would promote implementation of previous agreements.
Senator Dolzhevsky spoke in favour of active youth exchange between the two  countries. The proposal was appreciated by H.E. Ezzat Saad El Sayed. The Distinguished Guest assured the participants that all the Belarussian initiatives that could contribute to the development of bilateral relations would be brought to the leadership of Egypt.
Summing up the results, the parties agreed to continue the dialogue on the next visit of the Ambassador to Minsk scheduled for the second half of this March.
