Born 15 June 1951 in Porplishche Village, Dokshytsy Region, Vitebsk Province.
Graduated from Byelorussian Polytechnical Institute (Mechanic Engineer), Academy of Public Administration under the Aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus (Manager-Economist).
After the service in the Soviet Army worked as a Mechanic in the Mechanization Department No. 141, Trust No. 16 “Neftestroy” (Novopolotsk). After the mission to the Mongolian People’s Republic worked as the Chairman of the Trade Union Committee of the Mechanization Department No. 141, Trust No. 16 “Neftestroy”; the Head of the Safety Engineering Section, Trust No. 16 “Neftestroy”; the Chief Engineer, the Director of Ferroconcrete Production Enterprise, Trust No. 16 “Neftestroy”; the Director of the Republican Enterprise “NovopolotskZhelezobeton” (Ferroconcrete production).
