The visit of the delegation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the Republic of Belarus On 29 — 30 June 2009 the delegation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine made an official visit to the Republic of Belarus.
Within the framework of the visit Mr Boris Batura, Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, had a meeting with Mr Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The Ukrainian parliamentarians also had a meeting with the headship of the House of Representatives and visited Gomel Province.
