During the meeting the parties exchanged their views on a wide range of issues concerning the relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Czech Republic. In particular, the topics of the development of the bilateral inter-parliamentary cooperation and intensification of relations in the spheres of trade, culture, science and technologies were under a close look of the participants. Mr Aleksandr Abramovich said that the historical and cultural closeness of Belarus and the Czech Republic provided grounds for the advancement of cooperation in all the spheres of activity. Special emphasis was laid on the prospects for economic relations development between our countries. The participants accentuated a large potential of the Belarusian-Czech cooperation in the area of trade, investments, science and technologies. The importance of parliamentary contribution to the implementation of mutually beneficial projects was also brought into focus in the course of the meeting. Mrs Natalia Andreichik suggested strengthening ties between the organisations of lawyers of Belarus and the Czech Republic. |
