Mrs Natalia Andreichik,  Chairperson of the Standing Committee of the Council of the Republic National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus for Legislation and State  Administration, Deputy Head of the Working Group of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on Cooperation with the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Mr Viktor Guminsky, Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee of the House of Representatives National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus for National Security, Head of the Working Group of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on Cooperation with the Parliament of the Czech Republic, and Mr Vasily Markovich, Charge d'Affaires of the Republic of Belarus to the Czech Republic, also took part in the meeting..
During the meeting the parties exchanged their views on a wide range of issues concerning the relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Czech Republic. In particular, the topics of the development of the bilateral inter-parliamentary cooperation and intensification of relations in the spheres of trade, culture, science and technologies were under a close look of the participants. Mr Aleksandr Abramovich said that the historical and cultural closeness of Belarus and the Czech Republic provided grounds for the advancement of cooperation in all the spheres of activity. Special emphasis was laid on the prospects for economic relations development between our countries. The participants accentuated a large potential of the Belarusian-Czech cooperation in the area of trade, investments, science and technologies. The importance of parliamentary contribution to the implementation of mutually beneficial projects was also brought into focus in the course of the meeting. Mrs Natalia Andreichik suggested strengthening ties between the organisations of lawyers of Belarus and the Czech Republic. |
