The meeting with the delegation of the OSCE PA Working Group on Belarus

      On 21 – 22 December 2009 the delegation of the OSCE  Parliamentary Assembly’s Working Group on Belarus headed by Ms Cecilia Wigstrom, member of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Sweden, visits Minsk.

      On 21 December within the framework of the visit the members of the Working Group had a meeting with Mr Valery Ivanov, Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives, head of the delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus to the OSCE PA. Ms Nina Mazay, Chairperson of the Standing Committee of the Council of the Republic for Foreign Affairs and National Security, deputy head of the delegation, and Ms Antonina Morova, Chairperson of the Standing Committee of the Council of the Republic for Education, Science, Culture and Social Development, also took part in the meeting. The sides discussed the plan for joint actions of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus and the OSCE PA Working Group on Belarus in 2010.
